Pillar 01 / 12 services

AI Strategy and Consulting

Work that ends in a decision rather than a deck. We audit what you have, score what is viable, cost it honestly, and tell you when the answer is to do nothing yet.

Why this pillar exists

The expensive
mistakes happen
before the build.

Companies rarely fail at AI because the engineering was hard. They fail because they built the wrong thing, on data that could not support it, for a process nobody was willing to change.

Every service here is designed to surface that early, when the cost of being wrong is a few weeks rather than a few quarters.

The 12 services

What we do

Each is a standalone engagement with its own scope, price and output. Most clients use two or three in sequence.

AI Readiness Assessment

A two week audit that scores whether your organisation can actually support the AI you want to build, and tells you what to fix first.

Typical sequence

How they
fit together

You do not need all twelve. Most engagements follow one of three paths depending on where the uncertainty sits.

A

No clear direction

Use case discovery, then readiness assessment on the shortlist, then a proof of concept on the winner. Roughly ten weeks end to end.

B

Direction agreed, funding not

ROI analysis and business case, then roadmap. Built to survive a finance review rather than to win a workshop.

C

Capability gap, not a project gap

Fractional Chief AI Officer or Center of Excellence setup, with training and change management alongside.

Questions

FAQ

Where should we start if we have never done an AI project?

A readiness assessment or a use case discovery workshop, depending on whether your uncertainty is about capability or about direction. If you do not know which, the discovery workshop is the safer first step because it produces candidates you can then test.

Do these engagements commit us to building with you?

No. Every consulting engagement in this pillar is priced and delivered standalone. The outputs are written to be usable by your internal team or by another provider, and several clients do exactly that.

How are these engagements priced?

Fixed fee for defined scope work such as assessments, roadmaps, ROI models and pilots. Monthly retainer for the fractional leadership role. We publish indicative ranges rather than quoting only on request.

Can you work with our existing consultants?

Yes. We frequently work alongside a strategy firm handling the commercial side while we cover technical feasibility, data reality and AI specific regulatory exposure.

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no charge, no deck. Tell us what you are trying to decide and we will tell you which of these engagements fits, or whether none of them do.
