Cookie policy
Almost every page on this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and writes nothing to your browser storage. Exactly two pages are different: the pricing page and the AI readiness assessment carry Google Analytics. On those two the tag stays switched off until you accept it in a banner, and declining changes nothing about how the page works. Here is the whole picture, and how to check it yourself.
What this site does and does not do
Every item below is checkable in your own browser in under a minute. The last section of this page explains exactly how.
No cookie is set anywhere before you accept
Not on the two analytics pages, and not on any other page at all. If you never click accept, this site never writes a cookie to your device.
Analytics runs on two pages only
The pricing page and the AI readiness assessment. Every other page on the site measures nothing whatsoever, and there is no plan to change that.
The tag ships switched off
Google Consent Mode sets analytics storage to denied before the Google tag loads. Until you accept, it stores nothing on your device.
Declining is a real option
Decline and the page behaves identically. Nothing is withheld, no feature is disabled, and you are not asked again on that browser.
Almost nothing is loaded from elsewhere
Fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images come from this domain. The exceptions are Google Analytics on those two pages, and web fonts on the Insights blog.
No fingerprinting, ever
We do not probe your screen, fonts, canvas, audio stack or hardware to build an identifier. Nothing on this site attempts to recognise you without storage.
Why we did not just put a banner on every page
Because a consent request you cannot decline meaningfully, on a page that sets nothing either way, is theatre. It trains people to click accept without reading, which makes the banners that matter worth less. The banner appears on the two pages where there is genuinely something to consent to, and nowhere else.
This page used to be shorter. Until recently this site set no cookies at all anywhere, and said so. In September 2026 we added Google Analytics to two pages, so this page was rewritten the same day rather than left quietly inaccurate. It still explains what a cookie is, what the site does instead on almost every page, exactly what the two analytics pages do, where the banner appears and why, what the server records regardless, and how to verify all of it yourself.
iSpark.biz writes no cookie to your device before you consent. Two pages, the pricing page and the AI readiness assessment, carry Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode with analytics storage denied by default and a consent banner. Accept and GA sets its usual measurement cookies on those pages. Decline, or simply ignore the banner, and nothing is stored. Every other page on the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and writes nothing to browser storage.
What a cookie is, briefly
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests. Cookies are how sites keep you logged in, remember a preference, or recognise you across visits so an analytics or advertising service can build a picture of your behaviour.
Related technologies do the same job by different means. Local storage and session storage hold data in the browser. Tracking pixels are tiny images whose only purpose is to make a request to a third party. Fingerprinting builds an identifier from characteristics of your device rather than storing anything at all.
This site uses none of them by default. The one thing it can store, if you allow it, is described two sections below.
What almost every page does
The main site is static. Each page is a file the server sends to your browser. There is no account, no login, no session and no personalisation, so there is nothing a cookie would be needed for.
- Fonts are self hosted. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, so no third party sees your request.
- Styles and scripts are self hosted. One stylesheet and one small script, both from this domain. The script handles the navigation menu and nothing else.
- Images are self hosted. There are no embedded videos, no external image hosts, no social media widgets and no chat bubbles.
- The contact form posts to this domain. It is handled by a script on our own server, not a third party form service, and sets no cookie.
One page, the contact page, contains a small inline script that records the moment the page loaded so the form can discard submissions completed faster than a human could type. That value lives in the page for as long as the tab is open and is sent with the form. It is not stored on your device and it does not identify you.
The two pages that use Google Analytics
Two pages carry Google Analytics 4, property G-QZ5MC45M49. They are the pricing page and the AI readiness assessment. Those two are where it is genuinely useful to know whether the page is doing its job, and nowhere else on the site measures anything.
It is off until you accept
The Google tag is loaded with Consent Mode, and the consent defaults are set before the tag runs. Analytics storage, advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all set to denied. In that state the tag does not write cookies to your device. If you accept in the banner, analytics storage is updated to granted and Google Analytics then sets its usual measurement cookies, typically named starting with an underscore and g and a, which distinguish one visit from another.
| If you | What is stored on your device | What Google receives |
|---|---|---|
| Ignore the banner | Nothing | A cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier |
| Click decline | One small record of your choice, so you are not asked again | A cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier |
| Click accept | Google Analytics measurement cookies, plus the record of your choice | Standard GA4 measurement data for those two pages |
What the assessment sends, and what it never sends
The AI readiness assessment scores entirely in your browser. If you have accepted analytics, completing it records one event containing your band, which is one of four, and your total score out of thirty six. It never sends your individual answers, and it never sends anything that identifies you. If you have not accepted, that event carries no identifier and nothing is stored on your device.
The record of your choice
Whichever button you press, we store one small value in your browser's local storage so the banner does not reappear on every page view. It holds the word granted or denied and nothing else. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us or to Google, and clearing your browser data removes it, after which you will simply be asked again.
Why analytics at all, after saying we had none
Because two pages on this site exist to do a job, and we could not tell whether they were doing it. The honest options were to measure those two properly or keep guessing. We chose to measure, to confine it to those two pages, to ship it switched off, and to rewrite this page the same day rather than let it sit here quietly untrue.
The Insights blog and its web fonts
Our blog at /insights/ is not part of the static site. It runs on WordPress, which is a different piece of software with different defaults.
- It requests web fonts from Google. Opening a blog page makes your browser fetch a stylesheet from fonts.googleapis.com, and that request carries your IP address and browser user agent to Google.
- It sets no cookies for readers. We checked. Reading blog pages stores nothing on your device.
- It carries no analytics. Google Analytics is on the two pages named above and nowhere else, the blog included.
- Comments are not enabled. WordPress sets cookies when someone comments or signs in to the administration area. Neither applies to you as a reader. If we enable comments, this page changes first.
We are looking at serving those fonts from our own domain, as the main site already does, which would remove that request entirely.
Where the banner appears, and why not everywhere
Consent rules such as the ePrivacy Directive in the European Union are triggered by storing information on, or reading information from, a user's device. Consent is required before that happens, unless the storage is strictly necessary for something the user asked for.
On almost every page here, nothing is stored and nothing is read, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner appears. On the two analytics pages there genuinely is, so the banner appears there and the tag waits for your answer. That is the whole rule.
If you see a banner somewhere unexpected
It should appear on the pricing page and the AI readiness assessment and nowhere else. If you meet one on any other page, either this policy is out of date or something has been added that should not have been. Either way we would like to know at hello@ispark.biz.
What is recorded regardless
Being honest about this matters more than the cookie count. No cookies does not mean no record exists. Every web server logs the requests it receives, and ours is no exception.
Our hosting provider, currently Hostinger, keeps standard access logs for the server that delivers these pages. A log entry typically contains an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, the browser user agent and the referring page. These logs exist to run the service and protect it from abuse. They are not cookies, they are not set by us, they are not linked to anything you submit, and they are not exported into any analytics tool. The privacy policy covers them in more detail.
If you would rather your IP address were not visible to any website you visit, a virtual private network or a privacy oriented browser addresses that at the network level. That is a general point about the web rather than something specific to this site.
How to verify this yourself
Do not take our word for it. Most of this is checkable in about a minute, and we would encourage you to.
- Open your browser developer tools on any page of this site. In Chrome, Edge or Firefox that is usually the F12 key, or Command and Option and I on a Mac.
- Open the Application tab in Chrome or Edge, or Storage in Firefox, and look under Cookies for this domain. On any page other than the two named above it should be empty. On those two it should also be empty until you click accept.
- Open the Network tab and reload. On the main site every request should be to ispark.biz. On the two analytics pages you will also see googletagmanager.com, and on an Insights blog page you will see fonts.googleapis.com. Anything else contradicts this page and we would want to hear about it.
- For the fastest check, open the Console tab and type document.cookie then press enter. Before you accept anything it returns an empty string on every page of this site.
Browser extensions you have installed can add their own requests and storage, so a privacy extension or an ad blocker may show activity of its own. That is your software rather than ours, and it is worth knowing the difference when you check any site this way.
Changing your mind, changes to this page, and contact
Withdrawing consent
Clear your browser's site data for ispark.biz. That removes both the Google Analytics cookies and our record of your choice, and the banner will ask again next time. Most browsers also offer a global setting to block cookies for a site, which works here too and needs no cooperation from us.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Our commitment is the one we kept in September 2026: if measurement is ever added somewhere new, the consent mechanism arrives with it and this page is rewritten the same day, not six months later.
Contact
Questions go to hello@ispark.biz, or through the contact page. If you have checked and found something this page does not account for, that is exactly the sort of message we want to receive.
Frequently asked questions

Does iSpark.biz use cookies?
Not before you consent, anywhere on the site. Almost every page sets no cookies at all. Two pages, the pricing page and the AI readiness assessment, carry Google Analytics in Consent Mode, which means the tag loads with storage denied and writes nothing until you accept in the banner. You can confirm this by typing document.cookie into your browser console, which returns an empty string until you accept.
Which pages use Google Analytics?
Two: /pricing/ and /tools/ai-readiness-assessment/. Every other page on iSpark.biz measures nothing at all, including the Insights blog. Google Analytics 4 property G-QZ5MC45M49 is loaded on those two pages only, with a consent banner, and it stores nothing on your device unless you accept.
What happens if I decline the analytics banner?
The page behaves identically. Nothing is withheld, no feature is disabled, and the AI readiness assessment scores exactly the same. We store one small value in your browser recording that you declined, so you are not asked again on that browser. Google receives a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, containing no identifier.
Why is there no cookie banner on most of the site?
Because there is nothing to consent to. Consent rules are triggered by storing information on, or reading it from, your device, and on almost every page here neither happens. A banner on a page that sets nothing is theatre, and it trains people to click accept without reading, which makes the banners that matter worth less.
Does the AI readiness assessment send my answers anywhere?
No. The assessment scores entirely in your browser and your individual answers never leave it. If you have accepted analytics, completing it records one event containing your band, one of four, and your total score out of thirty six. It never sends the answers themselves and never anything that identifies you. If you declined, no identifier is sent and nothing is stored.
How do I withdraw consent after accepting?
Clear your browser's site data for ispark.biz. That removes the Google Analytics cookies and our record of your choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Most browsers also offer a per site setting to block cookies outright, which works here and needs no cooperation from us.
